Damian Lillard leaves Game 4 vs. Lakers after suffering right knee injury

The Los Angeles Lakers left no doubt who the best team was in their series against the Portland Trail Blazers, but the Blazers left the game feeling even more pain than they did coming in as their best player Damian Lillard left the game with a right knee injury and was ruled out for the rest of the game, as the Lakers dominated. After three quarters, the Lakers led by 25 points, 112-87.

While the Blazers ruled Lillard out for the game, the Blazers’ superstar is undergoing more tests on his knee to determine how serious the injury is. The Lakers are going to take a 3-1 lead into Wednesday’s Game 5.

The Lakers have had an offensive explosion in game 4, shooting nearly 60 percent from the field and 50 percent from the 3-point line. LeBron James has been dominant with 30 points, 10 assists, and six rebounds. Meanwhile, Anthony Davis pitched in 18 points for the Lakers. Kyle Kuzma also had 15 points off the bench for the Lakers through three quarters.

We will update this story as it develops.
