Daily Mirror TV critic Jim Shelley bowed out after 11 years writing his Shelley Vision column on Monday, thanking "all the features editors, picture researchers and subs" who have helped him, and "everyone for reading or writing in – even the letters in scary green capitals". Shelley had a final pop at EastEnders, before signing off by saying: "I'm off to put my feet up and watch telly." Bit of a busman's holiday, eh Jim?
