A doting dad left a devastating goodbye note for his wife and two children before he died of coronavirus.
Jonathan Coelho, 32, died last Wednesday in Danbury, Connecticut after a brave battle with Covid-19.
His heartbroken wife Katie, 33, said she was able to sit with Jonathan in intensive care after it happened
As she sat and cried she told him how much his family loved him.
Then when Jonathan's phone was returned to her, she turned it on and found a note he'd written the day before he was intubated.
The devastating note, shared on a gofundme page set up to help the family, said:
"I love you guys with all my heart and you’ve given me the best life I could have ever asked for.

"I am so lucky it makes me so proud to be your husband and the father to Braedyn and Penny.
"Katie you are the most beautiful caring nurturing person I’ve ever met.....you are truly one of a kind.....make sure you live life with happiness and that same passion that made me fall in love with you.
"Seeing you be the best mom to the kids is the greatest thing I’ve ever experienced.

"Let Braedyn now he’s my best bud and I’m proud to be his father and for all the amazing things he’s done and continues to do.
"Let Penelope know she’s a princess and can have whatever she wants in life.
"I’m so lucky.... ”

Jonathan tested positive for coronavirus on March 26 and was admitted into hospital with severe breathing issues.
Initially it was expected he'd only be in hospital for a weekend but after suffering setbacks he was sent to ICU where he was sedated and put on a ventilator.
He fought for 28 days in hospital and 20 days on a ventilator but sadly Jonathan died on April 22.
A poignant tribute by Katie described Jonathan as 'the most amazing husband to his wife, best friend and soulmate for seven years'.
It said his most cherished accomplishments were his two children Braedyn, two, and Penelope, 10 months.
