A horrified dad claims he found a 'live maggot' as he was unpacking his online delivery from ASDA.
The dad, from Aintree, was unpacking his online order from ASDA, which was packed in the Ormskirk Road store, on Sunday, August 29 when he spotted something moving in a bag of baby sweetcorn.
On closer inspection the 30-year-old said he was 'disgusted' to discover a live maggot within the bag.

The dad-of-one, who wished to remain anonymous, said: "I was just unpacking the order with my wife and sorting things to go into the fridge when I saw something moving.
"When I saw the maggot I was shocked and disgusted.
"If I hadn't seen that I would have eaten it myself for tea or given it to my one-year-old son.
"I felt sick."
Straight after finding the insect, the man got in touch with ASDA customer services, although the store told the ECHO it had not received a formal complaint from the customer.
The 30-year-old said: "I got in touch because I didn't know if they would need to do an urgent recall.
"I'm just concerned that this might have happened to other people too.
"We were lucky but my son could have easily eaten that."
A spokesperson for Asda said: “All of our fresh fruit and veg gets thoroughly washed as part of the packaging process, but as our baby sweetcorn is grown naturally in the ground, sometimes a tag-along may find its way through.
"Although we have not yet received a complaint from this customer, anybody who is unhappy with a delivery can return the product for a full refund.”
