D4vd asks judge to remove handcuffs before preliminary hearing in Celeste Rivas murder case

Singer D4vd has asked a Los Angeles judge to let him appear in court without handcuffs or other restraints during his preliminary hearing. According to NBC 4 Los Angeles, the hearing is set to begin soon, with prosecutors expected to present evidence in an effort to convince the judge that there is enough proof for the case to move forward to trial. D4vd's lawyer says the singer has behaved appropriately during all of his previous court appearances and has never tried to escape or disrupt proceedings, arguing that restraints are unnecessary.
