Customers are not happy after major problem with Next 2020 sale

A major issue with Next's 2020 sale has left customers angry.

The 2020 sale includes a VIP sale which was launched by the high street giant on Tuesday but loyal customers have been left fuming.

It's because many of them could not access the sale online, with many customers having to wait more than two hours to gain access.

In response to customer dissatisfaction, Next have posted a statement on their website apologising to customers who could not access the VIP sale, Birmingham Live reports.

Next told their customers: "Sorry if you are having problems accessing our VIP sale online. Our systems teams are working hard to resolve this issue as fast as we can. Please keep trying."

However, many Next customers were left less than satisfied and took to social media to vent some of their anger.

One fumed: "Not good enough. We spend with you all year which is why we get the privilege of the VIP sale. We shouldn’t be feeling angry and let down."

"Why not kill the website and start all over again? It's unfair to the many who have been affected. Poor customer service at all levels," a second person added.

A third fumed: "I'm not going to waste any more time - keep trying isn't a great message. You give out timed slots so you should know how many people are going to log in."

"After the fiasco with the last sale and now this I’m losing faith in you, cancel today and start it tomorrow with the same time slots to make it fair," another wrote.

"I didn’t realise VIP stood for Virtually Impossible to Purchase! #nextsale#nextvipsale " another raged.

"You promised those who had their orders cancelled priority VIP slots. And you didn’t. Your customer service is shocking," another wrote.

While a fellow shopper fumed: "Next you are a joke, can’t organise anything"
