A 52-year-old woman was arrested after police found class A drugs while swooping on a house in Cumnock.
Officers from Cumnock Locality Policing Team (LPT) and Divisional Violence Reduction Unit executed a Sheriff drugs search warrant in the town’s Meagher Court last Thursday.
During this search a quantity of suspected class A drugs were recovered.A 52 year old woman was arrested and held in custody to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court for her alleged possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply.
Sergeant Harvey of Cumnock Locality Policing Team said: “Officers continue to target those responsible for drug misuse and dealing in our communities.
“These drug recoveries are only possible with the continued support of those reporting suspicious activity in their street, village or town.”
