Crystal Palace vs Arsenal: Prediction, kick-off time, TV, live stream, team news, h2h results, odds

Arsenal will be coronated as Premier League champions this weekend when they take on Crystal Palace.

The Gunners make the short trip across the capital on the final day of the campaign safe in the knowledge that they hold an unassailable lead over Manchester City, and that captain Martin Odegaard will lift the trophy aloft at Selhurst Park after the game.

Mikel Arteta’s side were confirmed as title winners on Tuesday after Man City failed to beat Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium, stuttering to a 1-1 draw on the south coast.

The result led to widespread celebrations across north London, with Arsenal fans congregating outside the Emirates Stadium to witness a historic day in the club’s history.

Arteta is sure to have one eye on next weekend’s Champions League final in Budapest against Paris Saint-Germain, such is the dead-rubber nature of this fixture.

Palace, meanwhile, are gearing up for a huge match of their own next week, when they face Rayo Vallecano in the Conference League final.

Oliver Glasner’s side have nothing left to play for in the league, as they are safe from relegation but too far off the top eight to challenge for a European place.

Date, kick-off time and venue

Crystal Palace vs Arsenal is scheduled for a 4pm BST kick-off on Sunday, May 24, 2026.

The match will take place at Selhurst Park.

Crystal Palace vs Arsenal team news

It remains to be seen how drastic both managers go with their lineup changes, with both preparing for major European finals next week.

Glasner, naturally, has the smaller squad, so will find it slightly harder to rotate, but expect him to still take the chance to rest a few key men ahead of their trip to Leipzig.

On the injury front, the hosts will likely be without Chris Richards, who hobbled off against Brentford with an ankle injury. He did not train with the group on Thursday.

The Eagles were handed a triple boost, however, as Chadi Riad and Maxence Lacroix, who both took knocks at the Gtech Community Stadium, were back in action, and left-back Borna Sosa also made a comeback.

For Arsenal, star trio David Raya, William Saliba and Bukayo Saka were all given individual training programmes on Thursday as they trained away from the first-team group, although it is believed that none of the three are injury concerns.

Mikel Merino made his long-awaited comeback from a foot injury on Thursday, and he could be in contention for some minutes on Sunday.

Jurrien Timber is a few days behind the Spaniard as he recovers from the groin problem that has him touch-and-go for the Champions League final.

Max Dowman was also absent from training due to being in the midst of his GCSE exams.

Crystal Palace vs Arsenal prediction

It is a game that doesn’t mean much, but both managers will still want to continue their consistency and keep the good times rolling before the European finals.

Neither are particularly good at handing their star players much rest, so don’t expect this to be a fixture flooded with kids.

Draw, 1-1.
