Crystal Palace lineup vs Man United confirmed: Joachim Andersen out, Clyne starts

Patrick Vieira has made two changes to his Crystal Palace starting XI for today's visit to Old Trafford.

The Eagles keep James Tomkins at centre-back alongside Marc Guehi, with Joachim Andersen deemed not fit enough to play any role in the game due to his hamstring injury.

Elsewhere, Joel Ward's suspension through an accumulation of yellow cards means Nathaniel Clyne comes in at right-back for his first game of the season.

Vicente Guaita returns in goal, with the club's November player of the month Tyrick Mitchell getting the nod at left-back.

In the middle of the park, Vieira has named the same three players who started together away at Leeds United during midweek. Cheikhou Kouyate returns in the holding role, with Conor Gallagher and Jeffrey Schlupp playing together ahead of him.

In attack, Wilfried Zaha remains in the side and plays alongside Christian Benteke and Jordan Ayew, with the latter doing enough at Elland Raod to warrant his inclusion in the starting XI again today.

Vieira has named another attacking bench for the match, with Michael Olise, Odsonne Edouard, Eberechi Eze and Will Hughes all available to make an impact coming on at Old Trafford.

Crystal Palace XI: Guaita, Clyne, Tomkins, Guehi, Mitchell, Kouyate, Schlupp, Gallagher, Ayew, Benteke, Zaha.

Bench: Butland, Kelly, Riedewald, Milivojevic, Hughes, Eze, Olise, Mateta, Edoaurd.
