Crystal Palace captain has a message for Norwich as Eagles prepare to host travel-sick Canaries

Luka Milivojevic says that Crystal Palace must look to punish Norwich City as they look to try and bounce back from a disappointing draw against Wolves last weekend.

The Eagles looked to be on course for a third league win of the season - and second of the campaign at Selhurst Park - as they led 1-0 against ten-man Wolves going into injury time on Sunday.

But Diogo Jota netted with almost the last kick of the game to salvage a point for the visitors, with Palace left to rue missed opportunities as they threw away two points by conceding a last-gasp equaliser.

As a result, Palace missed out on the chance to move into the top half of the table, with Roy Hodgson's men instead sitting in 12th place ahead of the visit of Norwich City to Selhurst Park on Saturday.

The Canaries are yet to pick up a point away from home in the Premier League this season, with three defeats on the road in three matches.

And Milivojevic said that Palace must look to try and take advantage against Daniel Farke's side, who have picked up two wins at Carrow Road against Newcastle United and Manchester City, but nothing away from home.

"[In this league] You beat [Manchester] City and then you lose to Burnley, that happened to us last season many times," the Palace captain said, speaking to Premier League Productions.

"Every game is different, the opponent and their styles of play are different. They are a team who love to play, love to build up from the back and love to have possession.

"We know and we are going to try and do our best and to use their weaknesses to try and punish them, and in the end, the most important thing is to win the match."

Meanwhile, the Palace skipper is keen to continue the Eagles' unbeaten home record, having picked up five points from the first three games at Selhurst Park in the Premier League this season.

Palace are now unbeaten in 90 minutes in their last six home games in all competitions, a run that stretches back to April.

And Milivojevic hopes that is a trend that will continue this weekend.

“That is a big improvement from last season, where we didn’t score many goals or win many games," he said.

"That is good for our fans and I hope we will continue, and win the match on Saturday.”
