Creepy CCTV footage has shown a prowler canvassing a Scots home at midnight.
The incident occurred in the Southpark Village estate in Darnley, Glasgow on Wednesday September 22.
In the video shared by a neighbour on Facebook, the man can be seen scoping out the back garden area, most likely looking for a key.
He checks under the door mat, near the garden furniture and under what appears to be a plant pot or delivery box by the back door.
The man is wearing a black jacket, green or khaki trousers, grey trainers as well as grey and blue gloves at the time.
However, after being unsuccessful in his search, he goes out of shot and can be heard driving away towards the end of the short clip.
The shocking footage was posted on Facebook in the hours after the prowler scoped out the house.
It comes after a 86-year-old man was threatened and robbed of jewellery by three men in his home on the same estate in May.
He was uninjured but left badly shaken as a result of the attack.
Police Scotland were contacted for comment.
Officers advise not leaving keys on the inside of door locks, under mats or anywhere else that they can be easily found.
