MUMBAI: The NIA on Thursday arrested Salim Qureshi alias Salim Fruit, brother-in-law of gangster Chhota Shakeel in the case relating to the activities of fugitive terrorist Dawood Ibrahim.
In May, the NIA had arrested brothers Arif (59) and Shabbir Abubakar Shaikh (51) in this case. Salim has played an active role in extorting money in Shakeel's name through property dealings and dispute settlements for raising terror funds in furtherance of terrorist activities of Dawood, said the NIA.
