Another 24 coronavirus cases were confirmed today (May 16) in the Bristol region.
Eight of those cases - the joint highest in the region - came in the city of Bristol itself, according to the Government's latest daily figures.
The daily figures also cover deaths recorded within 28 days of a patient testing positive for the virus, but in Sunday's figures there were no new deaths in the city of Bristol or surrounding areas.

Cases
The number of positive test results in each area since the pandemic began is recorded below, with positive test results from the last 24 hours in brackets.
- Bristol - 30,962 (8 new cases)
- North Somerset - 10,146 (2 new cases)
- South Gloucestershire - 15,317 (6 new cases)
- Bath and North East Somerset - 8,306 (8 new cases)
Deaths
The number of deaths in each area since the pandemic began is recorded below, with new deaths in brackets.
Nationwide, the Government said another four people had died within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19, bringing the UK total to 127,679.
Today's update also saw a further 1,926 lab-confirmed cases in the UK. It brings the total to 4,450,777.
In total, 751 coronavirus patients were admitted to hospitals across the UK in the week up to May 11.
