Covid-19 cases Ireland update as hospitalisations and ICU numbers rise

A further 1,051 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed today.

As of 8am today, 319 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 60 are in ICU.

Yesterday a total of 298 COVID-19 patients were in hospital, with 56 in ICU.

The Department of Health released the figures this afternoon.
