From sex robots to teledildonics, the sex industry is slowly but surely incorporating more and more technology.
Now, one company has enlisted the help of virtual reality in its new Time Capsule system.
The system allows couples to record sex sessions and relive them in the future using virtual reality headsets.
Daniel Abramovich, CEO of VR Bangers, said: “I have always dreamt about time travelling, and I am incredibly excited to actually make it happen for real as a part of my professional work.
“Even though we spend most of our days on creating ever-new VR adult fantasies for our growing community of fans and members, we also invest a decent amount of our resources on developing new technologies and solutions, and the Time Capsule initiative is our newest discovery that we are finally ready to share with the entire world.”
To use the Time Capsule system, couples must first record their sex session using cameras that are carefully placed to capture the session from every angle.
This set-up is done by VR Bangers producers, meaning couples interested in the service will have to be pretty open to being watched!
The recording of the session is then transformed into virtual reality, meaning couples can watch it back whenever they want.
VR Bangers explained: “From that moment, the customers of the Time Capsule service will be able to wear their VR goggles to experience it all anytime they want – just like it would have happened yesterday – and the system will inform the users about the incoming sexual positions and will provide them with guidance to maintain the sensuality of the intimate intercourse kept in the capsule.”
While this is the first experience of its kind, it isn’t cheap - prices range from $10,000 to $15,000 (£8,200 to £12,300)!
Despite this, VR Bangers claims that the service has already been requested by thousands of keen couples.
Igor Zhivago, Marketing Director at VR Bangers said: “When we announced this service publicly for the very first time, we received over 1,500 emails in the first five days – and even though it does not mean that we have recorded 1,500 similar sessions already, the interest is enormous and we have our hands full.”
