Lottery players in Co Kerry are being asked to check their tickets after Saturday night's €9 million prize was scooped in the Kingdom.
One lucky ticketholder won last night’s Lotto jackpot worth €9,772,175 and the winning numbers to check for are: 04, 09, 15, 27, 29, 34 and the bonus number is 17.
This lucky ticketholder from the Kingdom is the 4th Lotto jackpot winner of 2020. So far this year, more than €40 million has been won in prizes in all Lotto games which includes seven new millionaires which have been created in the Lotto and Lotto Plus games.
Since the Lotto games inception in 1988, there have been 38 Lotto jackpot winners from Co. Kerry who have shared over €58 million in jackpot prizes.
A National Lottery spokesperson said it hopes to reveal the name of the winning store in the next couple of days.
The spokesperson said: “With a jackpot win of this amount, it is important that we take some time to inform the winning retailer and of course to give the winning ticketholder the time and space they need to let this amazing win to sink in so we will be announcing the winning store in the coming days.
"We encourage all of our Lotto players who purchased a ticket for Saturday’s Lotto draw to check their tickets carefully.
