County Durham woman, 25, found after she went missing following night out in Peterlee

A County Durham woman who went missing after a night out has been found.

Durham Constabulary officers had issued an appeal for Lindzie Egan who went missing in the early hours of Friday morning.

Lindzie, 25, from Horden, County Durham was last seen following a night out in Peterlee.

A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary confirmed on Friday afternoon that she had been found safe and well.

They said: "Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal to find missing Lindzie Egan.

"Lindzie has now been found safe and well."
