Counterfeit clothing and jewellery worth €52,000 seized in south Dublin

Gardai have seized suspected counterfeit goods worth €52,000 following a search operation in south Dublin yesterday.

Officers found footwear, clothing, jewellery and handbags during a raid at a number of premises in the Cabinteely and Clondalkin areas

The items were labelled as Canada Goose, Hugo Boss, Chanel and The North Face, among others.

A garda spokesman said: "The searches were conducted under warrant by Gardaí from Dun Laoghaire with the assistance of members based in Cabinteely, Shankhill, Blackrock, Dundrum and other units from the Dublin Metropolitan Eastern Region."
