- Two men have been arrested by counter-terrorism detectives investigating an arson attack on volunteer ambulances run by the Jewish community in Golders Green.
- The men, aged 47 and 45, were apprehended on Wednesday morning in London on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life.
- The arrests are linked to an incident in the early hours of Monday, where four ambulances from Hatzola, a volunteer-led service, were set on fire.
- Commander Helen Flanagan, Head of Counter Terrorism Policing London, said that while this is an important breakthrough, CCTV suggests at least three people were involved, and the investigation remains active.
- Police have reassured the community with an enhanced policing plan, including visible armed patrols, to deter further harm.
