The fallout from Seb Franklin and Nina Lucas' atrocious attack is continuing in Coronation Street.
The young lovebirds were set upon by fellow Weatherfield teens Kelly Neelan, Corey Brent and his pals in harrowing scenes aired last week.
And viewers have been left in bits after Seb tragically died from his injuries leaving mum Abi heartbroken and desperate for answers.
In Wednesday night's double bill of the ITV soap, fans watched as Corey tried to keep himself out of prison by voluntarily offering a statement to the police.
His dad marched him to the police station where he gave a witness account of the attack - pinning the blame on Kelly.
Not only that, it was revealed that the forensic evidence, so far, points to Kelly being the sole perpetrator of the vicious hate crime.
Kelly was seen giving her versions of events with lawyer and foster parent Imran by her side but it seems the youngster will struggle to get herself out of the mess she helped to make.
However, viewers have major questions over latest scenes and seem to think it creates a plot hole in the storyline.
"Please don't do this! - expect us to believe That Corey spins the Police a right tale, they believe him and charge Kelly for Seb's murder? Ludicrous beyond belief. BTW is Imram the worst ever lawyer to set foot on the planet or what? #Corrie," one fumed.
Another said: "If Seb and Nina were attacked at the same time they couldn’t both be Kelly also why are they only only believing Cory and not yet brought Ely (sp) in for questioning about the stolen car?#coronationstreet #Corrie."
"So Kelly managed to single handedly kill Seb whilst also assaulting Nina. Meanwhile Corey, a guy twice Kelly’s size, wasn’t able to pull her off Seb. Soap police being smart as usual #corrie," a third complained.
A fourth pointed out: "#Corrie not sure how Kelly is supposed to have single handedly beaten BOTH nina and seb up at the same time..."
"Just a minute. The police believe that Kelly inflicted injuries on Seb & Nina all at the same time #Corrie," another echoed.
Imran later revealed that Kelly had been kept in custody, with Seb's murder and the GBH of Nina.
But this is by no means the end of the story. And will Nina be able to remember what happened?
