Coronation Street star Kimberly Hart-Simpson has been targeted by cruel trolls who called her fat and insulted her appearance online.
The soap star who plays Nicky Wheatley, was left close to tears as she took to Instagram to speak about the vile comments she has received.
Earlier this week, the 33-year-old was pictured wearing a grey leotard and pink trainers as she worked up a sweat outdoors in Manchester.
But Kimberly has been left devastated by some of the comments she has received, including one troll who told her to 'lose a stone', reports the Manchester Evening News.
Posting a video on social media, Kimberly wrote: "Being trolled. Contains swearing and a heavy amount of emotion."
An emotional Kimberly revealed some of the negative comments she received including that she "needs a stylist, it looks like I'm wearing a parachute, that I'm disgusting, that I'm ugly."
She said: "I was standing next to my co-star Sean Ward and the comments about him were 'he's gorgeous'.
"He is gorgeous by the way, fact, but it's interesting how we talk about two different genders. "
Kimberly said: "I did a photo shoot in gym gear and it goes online and the comments are 'you're fat', 'you're ugly', 'you need to lose a stone', thunder thighs, cellulite, 'mum bod', 'gym gear? more like Jim's burger van'.
"The list goes on. I know this doesn't solely belong to me. A lot of people are getting trolled.
"We are normalised to it, but this isn't normal.

"You're not going to affect my self-confidence, but I am somebody's daughter. My mum had to read those comments, and that's horrible for them.
"The world is really difficult right now and we're all just trying to get by.
"In particular I'm in a job where it's currently classed as 'non-viable'.
"So if you see something today online that you don't like, swipe on by. It really is that simple.
"Anyway I think I've said my piece. I'm going to go now and probably get a burger from Jim's van."
Since posting the video, Kimberly has been inundated with comments from her co-stars and fans.
Former Our Girl and Corrie star Sean Ward was one of the first to comment, writing: "SO MUCH LOVE. YOU A REAL ONE B."
"Jealousy and ignorance. Ignore them and carry on as there is nothing wrong with the way you look at all," a follower wrote.
Another said: "You are beautiful, you don’t need to do anything you just be you sweets (you lucky thin next to Sean ward) you're amazing."
"Sending u massive love @kimberly_h_s you are a gorgeous, talented, beautiful soul, never be told different. You can stand your own, and that's what people despise," a fan also added.
Kimberley arrived as sex worker Nicky in Corrie this summer.
She has recently been working on a new project with Sean, who played former Weatherfield baddie Callum Logan.
