Corporate banker joins Deals Breakfast speaking panel

A corporate banker with more than 30 years experience across the UK is the latest speaker unveiled for the speaking panel at the Insider Deals and Dealmakers Breakfast.

Sheila McIntyre, a senior director in Clydesdale Bank's Structure Finance team, will speak at the event which is now less than a week away.

After qualifying as a Chartered Banker then following this up with an MBA, McIntyre's early career was based in the City of London in roles involved in major corporate syndicated transactions.

She then joined RBS, initially in a credit role and then in corporate relationship management with some time spent in both Reading and Birmingham, supporting mid-market corporates across a range of sectors.

In 2008, she moved back to her home town of Aberdeen where she joined Clydesdale Bank.

Since then she has been involved in relationship management of the bank’s mid-market customers across the region, supporting their investment and acquisition activity, as well as originating new opportunities.

Her current role focuses on managing the bank’s private equity-backed portfolio as well as new-to-bank leveraged transactions.

The Business Insider and CMS Deals & Dealmakers Business Breakfast takes place on Tuesday, 3 March at the Mercure Ardoe House Hotel, Blairs Aberdeen at 7.15am.
