Well, it looks like the coronavirus outbreak is going to last a little longer than it takes to sing Happy Birthday twice.
In fact, it could be months rather than weeks before it reaches its peak.
Today we get our first sight of Boris Johnson’s plan to tackle the outbreak.
The Treasury will be asked to step in to shore up the markets and help out businesses that might take a hit if people have to self-isolate.
MPs and peers will be asked to vote to hand Boris Johnson the powers to deny people entry to the country, shut down schools and ban mass gatherings of people.
And with hospitals already near breaking point you, dear reader, will be asked to chip in yourself - as an “army of volunteers” is called upon to ease pressures on the NHS.
Who was that guy that was always promising more staff for the Health Service back in November? You know the one.
Funny hair and a look of absolute dread that he’s about to be found out in his eyes?

Meanwhile, questions will be asked over fresh claims of bullying against Home Secretary Priti Patel.
Legal documents seen by the BBC claim a former staffer took an overdose after being verbally humiliated by Ms Patel in 2015, when she was Employment minister.
The aide was later given £25,000 to settle a legal threat to the government, who did not accept liability.
We’ll hopefully learn more from the “thorough, rapid and independent” investigation into Ms Patel’s behaviour that has been promised by Number 10.
Perhaps their questions could include “who knew about the alleged complaint and when?”
And perhaps: “Was the alleged complaint taken into account when Ms Patel was promoted, sacked and then promoted again by two successive Prime Ministers”?
