Five Brits staying in a French ski resort have tested positive for coronavirus after they came into contact with a British national who recently returned from Singapore.
Meanwhile a pupil in Brighton has been told to self-isolate after being linked to a man who was diagnosed with the illness in the city on Thursday.
It comes as the death toll soared from 86 to 722 on Saturday, threatening to surpass the 774 fatalities caused by SARS in 2002-2003.
