A 'dangerous driver' who caused havoc on a busy beach that's very popular with Dubliners left Gardai shocked after they made some startling discoveries during his arrest.
Laytown Gardai responded to complaints of scramblers driving wildly on Gormanston Beach on Saturday evening.
One male was arrested for 'dangerous driving' and his vehicle was seized but that was only the tip of the iceberg.
Not only had he no insurance and produced a fake driving licence to officers when quizzed, they also quickly found out that he was already a disqualified driver.
The motorist was subsequently charged with the list of offences and will appear in court next month.
