Members of staff at a nuclear power station have self-isolated amidst fears of a Coronavirus infection.
Four employees at the EDF-Energy run Hinkley Point C have put themselves in quarantine.
One member of staff recently returned from Northern Italy where hundreds of people have the Covid-19 strain of the virus, Somerset Live reported.
He is self-isolating along with his two housemates, in line with Public Health England advice.
Another member of staff is in self-imposed quarantine recently returned from Tenerife where the virus has caused one hotel to go into shutdown.
Four people on the Spanish island have the virus and 1,000 are in quarantine.
Staff at the power station have been given advice and urged to use "common sense precautions".
A spokesman for Hinkley Point said: "Following advice from Public Health England and as a precaution, four members of the Hinkley Point C workforce have self-isolated - one returning from Northern Italy and two of his housemates and one employee returning from Tenerife.
"We have issued protective advice to staff advising them on the common-sense precautions we can all take to minimise our individual risks.
"We are assessing risks associated with any staff travel and continue to closely monitor the situation."
The Foreign Office's travel advice warns against all but essential travel to 11 quarantined towns in Italy.
