Coronation Street viewers have been left stunned by Seb Franklin's dramatic new look.
Seb, played by Harry Visinoni, revealed his transformation during Monday night's episode of the ITV soap.
The builder decided he needed a goth makeover to go to a gig with new love interest Nina.
Seb, dressed in black with dark black eyeliner, tried the look out at home.
He showed the look to his mum Abi who told him he looked good.
"Just spat my tea out," tweeted one viewer.
Another viewer commented on Twitter: "As a goth, I feel most impressed by my boyfriend feeling comfortable in his own skin, expressing himself how he wishes.
"I just hope Seb doesn’t try too hard to impress Nina and is just himself instead."
Another said: "Seb should keep that look."
When he told Abi the image wasn't for him she reassured him: "She likes you, it's not about this, just try and remember that."
A worried Seb backed out of going to the gig but later changed his mind and told Nina he’d really like to go and stay in a hotel with her if it was still on offer.
Next week, in a bid to win Nina round, Seb calls at the cafe in goth attire and hands her a funeral wreath for her birthday, explaining how undertaker George Shuttleworth helped him achieve the look.
Sadly his gesture misses the mark and Nina, played by Mollie Gallagher, accuses him of making a mockery of her.
But it isn't long before their budding romance is back on track as Nina thaws towards Seb.
The teen explains how she became a goth and what it means to her, and not only does she forgive him she asks him to move in.
Seb previously dated waitress Faye Windass, beautician Alina Pop and Rovers Return barmaid Emma Brooker.
He was involved in a love triangle with Alina and Emma and the girls became best friends while he ended up single.
Alina is now dating neighbour Tyrone Dobbs which has caused shockwaves on the cobbles because the father-of-two was engaged to Fiz Stape.
