Coronation Street star Tracy Shaw has stressed the importance of faith and meditation to her after starting treatment following her breast cancer diagnosis.
Last month, Shaw, who played Maxine Peacock in the soap, told her Instagram followers that she would have to undergo chemotherapy for five months after lumps and lymph glands were discovered during a test.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday (12 May), the actor said: “I haven't really come on and spoken about my faith before, and how important it is to me, and how getting up early, and praying, and having my meditation, and doing my rituals every day is vital for how I react to life.”
