Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent has revealed she is expecting her first child.
The actress, who plays Sophie Webster in the soap, talked about her joy at preparing for her first child with partner Kean Bryan in an interview with OK! Magazine.
Brooke said she was beside herself with happiness. The couple want to keep the gender of the baby a surprise.
On having a baby with Kean, Brooke said: "We’re both each other’s biggest fans and having a baby together will add an extra bond.
"Kean brings out the best in me and it makes me so excited that we’re on this journey together.

"I like to think I’m the boss of our relationship but Kean has a really wise head on his shoulders, so I know he’ll be a brilliant dad."
The 26-year-old said she has been playing songs to her bump and is already planning for the new arrival to follow in her footsteps as a perfomer.

She said: "My mum had me when she as 24 and we have a really close relationship so I’m hoping that will happen for me.
"If I’m half the mother my mum is then I’ll be happy."
Helen Flanagan, who plays Brooke's on-screen sister Rosie Webster, has already been told the news and is also currently on maternity leave from the soap.
Brooke said: "She was absolutely beside herself! She’s already planning all the holidays we can go on with the children."
