Coronation Street's struggling Amy forced to flee after rapist manipulates friends

Amy Barlow is left struggling next week on Coronation Street after the police drop her case against rapist Aaron Sandford.

The teen, played by actress Elle Mulvaney, finds it even more tough when he begins to manipulate her friends, prompting her to flee...

On Monday, Tracy is determined to get justice for her daughter and vows to put flyers up about Aaron so that everyone can know the truth.

Amy is worried but Tracy insists that no one will know that it's her. Yet after Mary discovers a flyer in the florist printer, Abi discovers the truth and confronts Aaron.

Later, Peter calls round at No. 1 about the flyer in the florist printer shop and Amy is devastated that people know about her ordeal.

Even more determined, Tracy storms over to the police station and glues herself to the desk, demanding that they take Amy's rape allegation seriously.

She calls Daniel with her free hand and just as Steve and Amy arrive, they see Tracy is about to give an interview to Gazette reporter Suki. Amy begs her not to - will she listen?

Feeling the pressure, Amy changes her story - leading Abi to tell Aaron. Later, Aadi verbally lashes out at Aaron in the street for raping Amy, but Aaron hits back saying Amy has changed her story.

Aadi and Summer call Amy but Summer is not convinced by her friend's u-turn.

When Amy's phone pings later with a picture of Aadi and Aaron enjoying themselves at a gig, Summer clocks Amy's uncomfortable reaction.

On Friday, Tracy does her best to make Amy feel better by suggesting a film night and a curry in front of the sofa. Yet, when Amy spots Aaron at the counter, she flees the restaurant...
