Coronation Street's Sinead Tinker to die after star Katie McGlynn confirms exit?

Sinead Tinker's cancer storyline could come to a harrowing conclusion with her death following actress Katie McGlynn's confirmation that she was leaving Coronation Street .

Yesterday it was revealed that Katie, 25, Coronation Street's Katie McGlynn becomes sixth star to leave this year amid 'crisis' .

This comes just a day after Faye Brookes, 31, announced her exit. Katie became the sixth star to leave the soap this year .

Sinead first appeared on the cobbles on April 2013 and became involved in a love triangle with Chesney Brown and Daniel Osborne.

She was later dumped at the aisle by Chesney and began a relationship with Daniel, later becoming pregnant.

However there was a tragic twist when she was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2018 while she was pregnant with son Bertie.

Sinead decided to keep the baby and undergo treatment, but was alarmed in January after discovering that the cancer had spread.

This meant that she had to be induced when she was only six months pregnant so that she could start more aggressive treatment.

Despite complications Sinead survived and recovered in hospital.

However Katie's upcoming exit has sparked fears Sinead could die.

A Corrie spokesperson said: "Katie is fully committed to playing out the extremely important storyline she is currently portraying on screen. This story still has a long way to go. Any speculation threatens to undermine the storyline for viewers."
