Coronation Street's Kelly shares snap of soap 'mum and dad' Toyah and Imran cuddling up amid revenge plot prediction

Coronation Street star Millie Gibson showed there was more love off-screen than on it for the actors who play Imran Habeeb and Toyah Battersby. It's been a whirlwind time for the on-screen couple after Toyah was left heartbroken after discovering her fiancé was the father of Abi Franklin's surprise baby.

In emotional scenes aired earlier this month, Toyah revealed at her adoption hearing with Imran that he had been cheating on her and had a secret baby with their drug addict neighbour. She told the social worker that she couldn't go through with the adoption of their foster child Elsie with Imran, giving up her latest chance of becoming a mum.

But, after speaking to her sister Leanne, Toyah decided to adopt Elsie on her own. But she was left heartbroken again when she was turned down by the social worker who said it wouldn't be in Elsie's 'best interests' while Toyah is going through a split.

There were then heartbreaking goodbyes for the former couple and their foster daughter as she left to find a new forever family. And after that, when Imran came crawling back to ask if she would consider getting back together and raising his son Alfie as a family the answer from Toyah was a firm 'no.'

Then, when Imran shared his concerns that Abi might be back on drugs and told her that he intends to fight for custody of Alfie and that he would love her to help him raise his son, Toyah was disgusted with the idea and with his suggestion that she needed a child to be complete.

But Corrie viewers later saw her have a change of heart after visiting Alfie in the hospital. In scenes aired last week, when Toyah told the solicitor she'd raise Alfie with him, he hugged her with delight as he told her he loved her, to which she told him she loved him too.

However, fans don't think this is entirely true and that Toyah has an ulterior motive, wondering if she wants to adopt Alfie by herself or turn on Imran in a bid to help Abi get her life back on track despite her betrayal.

Luckily though, things are much different off-screen, and actors Georgia Taylor, who plays Toyah, and Imran actor Charlie De Melo were all smiles as they headed out near the soap's Salford-based studio with some of their co-stars.

Millie, who plays Kelly Neelan in the ITV soap who was once being looked after by Imran and Toyah, posted a snap of the pair on Instagram in a warm embrace, looking towards the camera.

Standing in a bar with the MediaCity lights dazzling in the background, Charlie looked dapper in a powder blue suit with red tie and large glasses while Georgia opted for a pretty black dotty dress. "Mom and dad," soap teen Millia captioned the post with a bunch of nearly crying emojis.

The group also shared more photos from their evening out, with Millie posing next to Craig Tinker star Colson Smith before reuniting with her on-screen mum Kel Allen, who left the soap in heartbreaking scenes earlier this month. "Back with mamma bear," Millie said as she posed alongside Kel in a stunning, all-white outfit.

Kel also took to Instagram with a few snaps, calling herself, Millie and Georgia 'Charlie's Angels' as they grinned for the camera before adding: "We love you @charliedemelo," with a photo fo the four stood together.

Recent Corrie returnee Kimberley Hart-Simpson, who plays Nicky Wheatley in the ITV soap, was also joining in the fun and shared a few selfies of herself alongside Kel and Millie before posing with the Kelly actress and Colson, writing alongside the picture: "1 drink, 2 drink, 3 drink floor."
