Coronation Street's Jack P Shepherd gushes over stunning girlfriend as co-star brands her 'fit'

Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd shared a public declaration to his girlfriend as he marked her birthday. The actor, famed for playing David Platt in the ITV soap, took to Instagram with a stunning photo of Hanni Treweek.

Jack, who jokes in his Instagram bio that he's an actor as well as "1/3 @sofacinemaclub & I’m @hannitreweek ‘s Reel director too", shared the image to his 391,000 followers which showed Hanni posing up a storm for the camera in a black, lace-trimmed mini dress while her matching dark locks flew around in the wind.

"Happy birthday gorgeous girl," the soap star started the caption of his post before sweetly adding: "I love you," with a red heart, flame and cake emojis.

Hanni was quick to respond, writing in the comments: "I love you so much," before Jack's Corrie co-stars sent their own best wishes and compliments to the birthday girl.

Georgia Taylor, who plays Toyah Habeeb in the ITV soap, said: "Many happy returns gorgeous Hanni." While Jack's on-screen sister Tina O'Brien, known for portraying Sarah Barlow, gushed: "FIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTT [flame emoji] Happy birthday Hanni, ps love dress."

And Jack's fans and followers were also sharing messages in the comments section. @lou_lou_land said: "You've bagged a stunner there, Jack. Happy birthday, Hanni."

@stubbslynn replied: "Happy birthday @hannitreweek hope you have a great day and @jackpshepherd88 is spoiling you." @vanydirenzo wrote: "Has she gone brunette? Wow, it really suits her. She looks absolutely gorgeous." @colken2012 added: "Happy birthday to your gorgeous lady!!"

Loved-up Jack and Hanni, who worked behind the scenes on Corrie, gave their first-ever joint interview on Loose Women back in November 2020 where they revealed how they met.

"We started talking at a mutual friend’s wedding," Hanni explained. "We just kind of clicked and he made me laugh a lot that night, it didn’t really go anywhere from that but then we met each other in Sainsbury’s. I had no make-up on, I was bright red, I was sweating, I was so embarrassed."

They also revealed at the time that they are keen to tie the knot - but it wasn't on the cards in the imminent future at the time. "We fell in love quite quickly, we clicked and were on the same page," Hanni said on the ITV show. "I think we’d like to in the future," she added when asked about the couple's future plans.

Jack said: "I think it’s only sensible to have those sorts of conversations with a partner or someone that you’re dating… after a few months or as soon as you know it’s serious."
