Poor Andrew Whyment has only been in the jungle five minutes and already he’s been made to take part in a brutal Bushtucker trial.
The Coronation Street favourite will battle Frontier of Fear on tonight’s episode of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! - and by the looks of this clip, it’s not for the fainthearted.
The actor, who plays Kirk Sutherland, enters the camp along with fellow latecomer Cliff Parisi, who is best known as Minty Peterson in EastEnders.
Far from having the red carpet rolled out for them, the soap stars will not have an easy ride - as can be seen in this teaser video of Andrew, 38, who can be seen in what can only be described as an abattoir themed home.
Giggling hosts Ant and Dec ask the Corrie favourite - who can be seen wading through lumps of animal carcasses in a bid to find gold stars - what he can see.
Andrew says: “Urgh. There’s just loads of guts and loads of worms and stuff.”
When asked how it smells, he replies: “Absolutely disgusting.”
The cheeky Geordie hosts are more than happy with that answer as Ant gives Dec the thumbs up.
Cliff, realising his own fate, looks into the building’s door window with dread.
“Everything is covered in offal and fish guts,” says Dec, helpfully, as a pigeon flies over Andrew’s head.
“I bet you’re having a right good laugh out there boys, aren’t you?” he quips, as the pair nod their heads in agreement.
The soap stars will join the original 10 celebs in the Australian outback, including Caitlyn Jenner, Ian Wright, Nadine Coyle, as they battle to be crowned king or queen of the jungle.
