Coronation Street legend issues ‘weird’ cancer update

Coronation Street actress Beverley Callard is trying to remain "brave and strong" following a "weird" update regarding her cancer diagnosis.
Callard played Liz McDonald on the soap for three decades.
She announced in February that her illness was in its "very early stages".
On Tuesday, 14 April, she received a text message requesting her to meet a consultant on Thursday to discuss her examination results.
She expressed confusion and concern, noting that a cancer nurse had promised to contact her as soon as results were known, which had not occurred.
