Coronation Street fans were thrilled as Shona returned to the programme tonight.
Viewers watched as Shona discussed her care with someone, who said she was fit to go home.
Shona's carer said she wanted to go home, but not to David, instead to her son Clayton.
Shona said she wanted to be with "my boy" and named her old address.
The carer then told Shona that her son was in prison and she was unable to see him and live with him.
Shona kicked off and said it was "my right as a mother."
Fans then saw David receive a phone call from the people who were looking after Shona, saying they were taking her to see Clayton in prison.
But despite the fact Shona was still confused about her old life fans were happy to see her back on TV.
Emma Horsfall said: "Shona, I'm over the moon Shona's back I missed her so much, it hasn't been the same without her."
Adam said: "SHONA IS BACK."
Shaun Ely said: "I’m loving seeing Shona again."
Ryan Glendenning said: "Shona's back #Corrie. But I feel so bad for her. Clayton has brainwashed her again."
Katie said: "Shona. So glad she’s back, I’ve missed her so much."
And @thegrimestwins3 said: "So good to see Shona has returned back on the street hope she goes back to David."
