Coronation Street fans devastated as Yasmeen covers up killer Geoff's crime

Coronation Street's Yasmeen Nazir was struggling in the fallout to horrific events on Friday night.

Yasmeen was left feeling sick as she began eating her chicken dinner with husband Geoff Metcalfe, only to be told that it was her pet chicken Charlotte Bronte.

Geoff killed her and forced his wife to eat her, knowing how fond she was of the chicken - as revenge for her cooking him a horrible dinner.

He's been manipulating and controlling her for months, isolating her from loved ones.

But his latest moved left viewers outraged, and had a clear impact on Yasmeen.

On Monday, she was struggling with the loss and her husband's cruel and killer actions.

In fact, she was being really off with him - leading to fans hoping she'd find the courage to leave him, or at least tell someone of her ordeal.

Geoff advised she take a day off work to take care of herself, with him clearly worried she'd spill the beans on everything.

She agreed, while confessing she'd had no sleep because of the nightmares since Charlotte's death, and the fact she'd eaten her.

It's when granddaughter Alya grilled Geoff about her being heard crying in the garden though, that fans had hope of him being exposed.

Not happy with his excuses, Alya raced round to her gran's house and asked her what had happened.

Yasmeen told her all about Charlotte Bronte's death, and her heartache.

But Yasmeen covered up for her killer husband, not revealing he was behind it or that he'd made her eat the chicken afterwards.

Viewers were devastated for her, begging Alya to discover the truth.

But will she finally tell all in upcoming scenes?

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
