YouTube star Corey La Barrie has died aged 25 in a car crash on his birthday.
He was in the passenger seat when the McLaren sports car was accidentally crashed into a street sign and a tree.
His mother Lissa Burton and brother Jarrad La Barrie broke the news on Monday their beloved Corey had died in a car accident on Sunday May 10.
TMZ reported his friend Ink Master star Daniel Silva was driving and could be booked for murder. Los Angeles Police Department have yet to identify the people in the crash but they confirmed the crash took place.
The social media star rocketed to fame with 338K subscribers to his YouTube channel.
His brother Jarrad lamented life would never be the same without the "best big brother" in the world while his mother said her heart had broken.
In a lengthy message, Jarrad paid tribute to his late brother on social media for all his friends to see.
He penned: "This isn't something I thought I would ever have to sit here and type out for a very long time or what I wanna do right now but everyone deserves to know, my brother Corey passed away last night in a car accident...
"This is the hardest thing I've ever had to do I don't how I'm suppose to do this without you I miss you so much already this isn't fair thank you for always being the best big brother I could ask for i love you so f****** much life's never gonna be the same without you R.I.P."
His mother wrote: “My heart breaks right now, on my son’s 25th birthday today... The accident killed him instantly. No words can describe the sadness I feel in loosening a child.
"It just feels so unreal and I’m overwhelmed with grief. I love you so much Corey and will miss you so so much. It’s just so unfair.”
A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed "a McLaren hit a street sign before crashing into a tree in the Valley Village neighborhood on Sunday, according to E! News.
Social media stars have been pouring in their tributes for the late YouTuber.
Rebecca Black and Ethan Dolan of the Dolan Twins paid their respects to the star on social media.
In poignant final social media posts, late Corey opened up about hanging out with his roommates and growing a beard in isolation.
