April 27--Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville was reluctant Monday to name his starting goaltender for Game 1 of of their series against the Wild, but he did anyway.
Corey Crawford, who came in relief and shut out the Predators down to clinch the series in Game 6, will be back in the net after Scott Darling started four of the six games against the Predators.
"Great response in a very important game for us," Quenneville said. "All of a sudden it was a tight game and the game was on the line. He did everything he could."
Quenneville shook up his lines at Monday's practice as Kris Versteeg wore a white sweater, which is usually a sign a player is not in the regular rotation and likely won't play the next game.
"Wherever I go, I try hard," Versteeg said. "Whether it's a white sweater, red sweater, it doesn't matter to me. I'm just trying to play my game. If I'm in the lineup, I am. If I'm not, I'm not. It is what it is."
That meant Teuvo Teravainen was back in the lineup. He skated on the Hawks' third line with Patrick Sharp and Antoine Vermette.
Winger Bryan Bickell moved up to the second line alongside Brad Richards and Patrick Kane.
"Playoffs, you just skate wherever you're put," Versteeg said. "If you're in the lineup, you got to be ready to play. Just got to be ready whenever."
