Police are probing a horror crash that left a woman fighting for life on the A86.
The one-vehicle crash involving a blue Renault Clio, happened just after 9.30am on Wednesday, November 3, on the road near Moy Lodge at Loch Laggan.
A 25-year-old woman, the driver of the car, was rushed by air ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
She remains in a critical condition.
Two children, aged 5 and 2, who were passengers in the car, were taken by ambulance to Raigmore Hospital as a precaution.
The road was locked down until around 5:30pm on Wednesday night as a collision investigation was carried out.
Police are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Road Policing Sergeant Angus Macleod said: “This was a serious crash that occurred at a point in the day when there would have been commuters and delivery vehicles on the road.
“I am appealing for anyone who may have seen the vehicle, or have dashcam footage of the vehicle, on the A86 prior to the crash to get in touch with officers.”
