Cops find drugs stash worth up to £1million in abandoned Scots bingo hall

Cops have uncovered a drug s stash worth up to £1million in an abandoned bingo hall in Inverclyde.

A c annabis cultivation worth an estimated street value of £600K to £1million was seized from the scene.

Officers from Police Scotland made the discovery in Port Glasgow in what has been described as a “disused” bingo hall.

Two men have now been arrested on drug related offences in connection with the incident.

Investigations into the drug recovery are ongoing.

Area Commander Chief Inspector Cameron states "This is an excellent example of our on-going commitment to dismantle the illegal drug trade here in Inverclyde, we made a commitment to tackle this illegal drug trade and are fully committed to bringing those responsible to justice ".

Inverclyde Police tweeted about the incident and urged anyone with further information to get in contact on 101 or @CrimestopSCOT.
