Set on Lingholm Estate’s large stretch of private lake frontage, guests can make their way up to the magnificent main house through the garden. Beatrix Potter spent many happy summer holidays on the estate, taking inspiration from her surroundings for some of her most famous stories. The Lingholm Kitchen Garden is said to be the inspiration for Mr McGregor’s garden in The Tale of Peter Rabbit.
The Scandi-style apartment features a kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom with views over Derwentwater from every room.
