Conor Benn’s world title fight against Ryan Garcia will take place on September 12 in Las Vegas, with Zuffa Boxing promoter Dana White announcing the deal for the fight is now signed.
Garcia took the WBC welterweight belt in February with victory over Mario Barrios and has been promising to settle a personal duel with Benn, saying he would send him “back to the UK sipping on some tea”.
Garcia had previously indicated the date and location for the fight, now confirmed as the T-Mobile Arena in Vegas.
“It is official, Ryan Garcia versus Conor Benn is signed and taking place September 12 live from T-Mobile Arena here in Las Vegas,” White said in a video posted on social media.

Benn suffered the only defeat of his 26-fight career when he lost to Chris Eubank Jr in April 2025, but he has since recorded back-to-back wins.
The 29-year-old avenged the loss to Eubank Jr by winning the rematch seven months later and then unanimously outpointed former 140lbs champion Regis Prograis in April to earn his spot as Garcia’s mandatory challenger. This will be the Londoner’s first world title fight.
Garcia has won 25 of his 28 career fights, 20 of them by knock-out.
“These guys have been going back and forth on social media and this fight is going to be awesome,” White added.
