Donald Trump is scheduled to deliver a prime-time address Thursday at 9 p.m., with reports suggesting he may revisit unsubstantiated claims of 2020 election tampering.
Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez urged TV networks not to air "lies about our election," stating an ethical obligation to avoid platforming content that undermines elections without evidence.
Trump previewed his speech , calling it "really, really big news" about U.S. elections, emphasizing that "without free and fair elections, you don't have a country."
Sources like MS NOW and Axios report that Trump is expected to discuss newly declassified intelligence concerning foreign interference in the 2020 election.
Despite Trump's repeated claims, multiple reviews, including by his Attorney General and U.S. intelligence agencies , found no evidence of widespread fraud or foreign interference altering the 2020 election outcome.
