WASHINGTON _ Donald Trump was largely derided when he called Hillary Clinton "a nasty woman" during the third presidential debate, but Texas Rep. Brian Babin said the Republican presidential candidate should have.
Appearing on Alan Colmes' radio show on Thursday, Babin said Trump won the debate and said Trump was in the right for referring to Clinton that way.
When first asked if it was appropriate, the Texas Republican said Clinton said nasty things but that "I'm a genteel Southern gentleman, Alan."
Colmes persisted and eventually Babin responded in the affirmative.
"No, I think sometimes a lady needs to be told when she's being nasty," he said.
Others, including House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, have started using the term as a badge of honor.
