HYDERABAD: The Congress has blamed both TRS and BJP for the Rs 10 lakh per family Dalit Bandhu scheme implementation being brought to a halt by the election commission of India, in poll-bound Huzurabad constituency.
Telangana Congress president A Revanth Reddy said it as part of their tacit understanding and strategy that TRS and BJP managed to stop implementation of Dalit Bandhu scheme.
"When there is no problem in the implementation of Rythu Bandhu scheme, why shoud there be one for Dalit Bandhu? Why is that the TRS and BJP leaders are not meeting election commission seeking implementation of Dalit Bandhu. People of Huzurabad constituency and Telangana should realise that both TRS and BJP are anti-Dalits," Revanth said.
The TPCC chief also charged chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao of instigating the Dalits against the Backward Classes (BCs). Dalits are demanding categorisation of SCs into A, B, C and D groups. CM KCR has not fulfilled his promise of making a Dalit as the CM and distributing three acres land to poor SC families.
Congress Legislature Party leader Bhatti Vikramarka said both the TRS and BJP parties are anti-SCs and anti-down trodden sections, more so the saffron party. People should realise the drama of the two parties and teach them a lesson by defeating TRS and BJP in Huzurabad, he said.
