Congratulations to new Press Gazette editor

Congratulations to Dominic Ponsford, who has become editor of the rescued Press Gazette. I know him mainly by his reports on stories I've been involved in and found him to be a scrupulous journalist. Now 32, he joined the magazine as a reporter in 2003, later becoming chief reporter and then news editor. He began his career in 1988 on the Battle Observer in East Sussex and later worked for the Swindon Evening Advertiser. Press Gazette is now owned by the magazine publisher Wilmington Media whose editorial director is Tony Loynes, a former PG editor. (Via Press Gazette)
