Confirmed West Ham team vs Everton: Anderson and Nasri ruled out as Pellegrini makes changes

Manuel Pellegrini has had to shuffle his pack for this evening's game against Everton as West Ham return to Premier League action.

The first international break of 2019 has meant that the Hammers have had to wait for two weeks to play again following their thrilling 4-3 win over Huddersfield Town last time out.

It actually appeared that West Ham would be slipping to another defeat following their 2-0 loss against Cardiff City as they trailed 3-1 against the Terriers, yet a goal from Angelo Ogbonna and a late double from Javier Hernandez sealed an important win.

The Hammers are currently ninth in the table with seven games left to play, behind Wolves, who currently sit in seventh, by two points.

Everton will also still fancy their chances of going one better than last season and finishing just behind the top six, although they trail Nuno Espirito Santo's team by four points and have played one game more ahead of the final push.

West Ham did record a brilliant 3-1 victory over the Toffees at Goodison Park back in September, while they also won the corresponding fixture at the London Stadium by the same scoreline on the final day of last season.

Here's how Pellegrini's side will line up against Everton this evening:

West Ham starting XI: Fabianksi; Zabaleta, Diop, Ogbonna, Cresswell; Rice, Obiang; Snodgrass, Lanzini, Perez; Arnautovic.

Substitutes: Adrian, Balbuena, Masuaku, Noble, Antonio, Diangana, Hernandez.

Why West Ham's clash with Everton is the acid test to claim the "best of the rest" title
