The Celtic Way reported yesterday that Anderlecht have told Celtic to increase their offer for Dolberg.
The Parkhead side are prepared to pay a sum in the region of £8million to land the 27-year-old as a replacement for Swansea target Adam Idah.
Asked directly about Dolberg at a press conference on Friday, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers said: "There are obviously a number of players that we're looking at that we need to bring in, especially on the front line.
"But I think we'll be pretty busy and active over the coming days."
