Concerns growing for missing Ayrshire man as police appeal launched

Concerns are growing over a missing man who was last seen in Kilmarnock.

Police have launched an appeal to trace John McLardly who was last seen at 11.15am on Monday, June 12, in Portland Street.

John is described as being around 5'8" in height and of average build. He is bald, with grey facial hair.

Officers say when John was last seen he was wearing a deerstalker hat, blue jeans and a t-shirt which is either navy of khaki.

Police Sergeant Garret of Ayr Police Station said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for John. He is known to visit pubs in Irvine and Kilmarnock, and I would appeal to anyone who sees him to get in touch.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting 0115 of 12 June 2023."
